Hello, I was wondering if the galvanized screen enclosing the chicken pen ($229) will withstand chewing of raccoons and other nocturnal prowlers. Thanks.

Thank you for your email.
Short answer: Yes. The wire is designed to protect against predators.
Granted, Im sure a bear could take it down!! But this wire is meant to protect agains a fox, raccoon or coyote. The most vulnerable place for most predators to penetrate is by digging under the run or the coop. We recommend digging 12 into the ground and placing pavers or wood to discourage digging beneath the run or coop.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

I'm GiraffeRaging2 obviously, but now my old one is gone, so I actually got my IGN as my forum name now.
I recommend that everyone else that had kits do the sam
