Hi, Could you tell me which of your coop designs would be good for 4 - 6 hens in the Sonoran Desert (Tucson AZ)? We have very hot summers. Thanks, Aaron

Hi Aaron,
Well theres not much getting around the heat. Hydration and some extra electrolytes in the water are helpful. A coop that is shaded is nice... Id recommend the Herb Garden Chicken Coop. Plenty of shade and 4-8 inches of earth to help shield that hot sun. The question is what you are going to grow on the roof?
Were getting ready to launch this chicken coop as a kit.... Ive attached a photo of the prototype. As a kit, this coop will go for $649 with a $49 handling fee. I can probably get you the prototype for $549 (free shipping).
The other chicken coop that my be good for hot weather (as it provides good shade) and is popular: Chicken Tractor
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Best regards,
